Since 1972, Dallas Safari Club has been the gathering point for hunters, conservationists and wildlife enthusiasts throughout the metroplex. As an international organization, DSC offers members a world of options: annual conventions and expositions, monthly meetings and other member activities, education for youth and the general public and to promote and protect the rights and interests of hunters worldwide, conservationists, and wildlife enthusiasts.
The historic West End district is proud to host the Adventure Convention and Sporting Expo for 2017 at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center and Omni Hotel! With awards on each night, exhibits and vendors ranging from hunting supplies, fishing, various gun clubs and organizations and travel and suite vendors – your hunting and nature supply needs will be met at the this years Dallas Safari Club, “The Greatest Hunters Convention On The Planet”!

Staying In The West End For The Convention
If you are staying in one of the hotels in the West End district in downtown Dallas, DSC is offering complimentary to and from hotels and the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. Shuttle service is also available for all Evening Banquets, the Exhibitor Welcome Party & Auction, and the Ladies’ Luncheon.
- For patrons of the West End staying at the Marriott City Center Hotel: DSC encourages you to use the DART rail system. The DART station pick up is located in front of the Marriott City Center hotel and will drop off at the Convention Center.
- For patrons of the West End staying at the Springhill Suites: the hotel will provide their own shuttle service and will run on the same schedule as the DSC shuttle.
The historic West End in downtown Dallas hosts just a taste of fine dining and shopping within the city. Everything a hunter could dream of is found in the West End – one of the premiere steakhouses in Dallas’ Y.O. Steakhouse, The Palm Restaurant after a day at the convention, and Wild Bills Western Store to grab the last-minute accessories and souvenirs as you make your way through downtown Dallas.
