Photography comes alive at the Sixth Floor Museum

Its a great day to get out of the cold and visit the The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza! So many great exhibits and historical information to explore. If you cant go today, make plans to visit the museum tomorrow night November 18th at 7 p.m. for an special evening as some of the “old timer” Dallas Times Herald photographers recount their memories from that historic day.

“Photographer William Allen was in his darkroom when he heard the call over the radio of a homicide at the triple underpass. He arrived in Dealey Plaza to see the press buses in the motorcade leaving the area. Allen would remain on Elm Street, using his wide angle and telephoto mounted cameras to capture images of the crowds and eyewitnesses.”  ~ Sixth Floor Museum
